This film uses the best special effects and graphics on the market and it paid off too. This movie had a great story, and kept you on your heels with a mix of action and romance. The story had very interesting characters and every character had a substantial role in the film. This movie shows the balance of life. It shows you two sides of the story. This already happened in the United States with Andrew Jackson and the Native Americans, escpecially the Seminoles. THis gives you a more futuristic and visual view of things. This movie shows a good life lesson and shows you that if you get greedy, dragons might come eat you! lol Best film this year!!!!

Gone With The Wind

Gone with the Wind is based on the novel Gone with the Wind written by Margaret Mitchell

The most memorable for me is when she rides away on the horse and that horrible prob made by 2x4 pieces of wood burns to the ground.

I would tell future viewers to get ready for a very long movie and to try and understand 19th century english. Movie is relatively boring unless you like slow paced, old movies.

Bronx Tale/Godfather/Good Fellas

Well let me start off by saying that Good Fellas was definetley my favorite becasue of all the action that took place. The Bronx Tale had a very good story line, but not enought action. i did not like the Godfather because the story was very hard to follow.

The Bronx Tale and Good Fellas are similar in many ways. The Godfather is not similar like these two movies are. In both movies, the parents tell their child not to be involved with mobs. In The Godfather, the whole family is invovled in the mob. Only in Goodfellas is their drug business because in The Godfather, the Don refuses to go into the Drug business/trade. Both Goodfellas and A Bronx Tale take place in the 60's while the Godfather takes place in the 40's. Joe Pesci is both in a Bronx Tale and in Goodfellas, having two completely different roles. DeNiro also acts in Bronx Tale and Goodfellas.

In both Bronx Tale and the Godfather, there are ethnic/racial groups. Goodfellas is a true story and incorporates different races. The Godfather was a decent film but a Bronx Tale and Goodfellas were absolutely amazing, following a very good story line. Recommend all films.

*I think we should get into the war genre next like Saving Private Ryan and so on*

Citizen Kane

This movie teaches a very important life lesson. Money cannot buy happiness. THis movie follows a rich man who owns a newspaper company. He has all the money in the world and is very famous. He has no real friends. He finally meets a girl who has no clue who he is and takes advantage by not telling her who he is. he finds out she likes him for who he is and not for his money. In later years, his wife leaves him and he dies shortly after.

Vertigo

Vertigo is mind-blowing. THis is one of the films ive seen that has such an in depth and confusing story. When the main character is fearful of heights, the "Vertigo" effect happens. THis is one of the first films to have this visual effect. THe cliffhanger at the end just finishes the movie off with a bang. Great movie!

Notorious

Notorious is one of Hitchcocks films. It is one of his only films that has famous actors starring in it. It was about a Nazi spy's daughter who was hired to spy on the Nazis so you had a father on one countries side and his daughter on another. This was not one of my favorite films because it lacked the suspense of a normal Hitchcock film. I am not really into romantic movies but an Alfred Hitchcock finatic may be interested in this film.

Shadow of a Doubt

Another Alfred Hitchcock Film. He left the audience in suspense because we knew Charlie was the serial killer but the characters didnt and we had no clue what was going to happen to them. What I find very intersteting is that you never see Charlie doing any murderous acts. The look on his face all the time gave us a clue and when he grabbed Charlies wrists was when we could see him being a killer. The climax definetley made the movie because that was the first murderous act you saw Charlie do the whole movie. This was definetley one of the more interesting of Hitchcocks films because I didnt think it would be about murder, but then again, thats all Hitchcocks movies are about. This is one of my favorite Hitchcock films out of all the ones I've seen this year. This is a must see.

Whats up Tiger Lily

THis film is hilarious, especially with that fat big asian making those retarted sounds. This was just a fun and comical film. They put so much comedy in short periods of time. Kept it interesting and never not funny. THe film was supposed to be serious because the secret egg salad recipe was being stolen but they made it funny, without the characters really trying to be funny

The Birds

This film just makes you wonder. If birds attacked, they could definetley kill a good amount of humans until the miltary shot tear gas and forced them out of the area. This is an unexplainable film and is made for the imagination. Of course when the birds attacked it wasnt realistic, but what do you want for an old movie. This movie was made to keep you interested and entertained. Isn't that what movies are supposed to do. A movie doesnt always have to be realistic to be good. Overall good film

American Graffiti

This is a great film that shows America back in the 60's. The music is from the 60's and flows perfect with the film. THis movie exerts a very positive feeling due to the fact that these teens are close to our age. The racing and revving the engines kept me interested. Great Film

Psycho

Hitchcocks horror film. Very famous. Music made this film. You can tell by that scene you showed us without music. It was 10x less heart punding. Without music, this film would not be famous. This film is old and still somewhat scary. Not very common anymore. This is a must see film!

Edward Scissor Hands

Great film. Considered a classic although fairly young. This film kept me intersted because it gave you mixed emotions. One time it was sad and then happy and then funny. THis film had a great production design. The abandoned castle looked very realistic and the hedges were beautiful. Those scissors as hands were really legit. Great movie. Recommend to everyone

It is a comedy about a crazy news reporter. THis movie tried to hard to be funny. When the news reporter passed out on his show, his face was just retarted. i liked how the audience clapped when he collapsed. That was very funny. Many things said were unclear but then this movie is much older than me.

General

This was definetley the best movie you have shown this year. Silent film but hystyerical, especially with the great facial expressions by the actors. A confederate soldiers train was stolen. he chases the union soldiers to get it back. When the union soldiers notice there is only one confederate soldier on board, they chases him. THis is when the comedy starts. The facial expressions were awesome. Almost all civil war movies show the Union Soldiers as the main characters but its the confedeate here. Found it very interesting. Best movie yet!

Some Like It Hot

Two musicians witness a mob kill and disguise themselves as women to escape the gangsters. THis causes many problem in the film like when one of the guys falls in love with the girl. Very good plot. Flowed great and was interesting to watch. THis film has some comedic moments. The ending just makes this film. It makes the whole movie worth watching. And of course, many wathched this movie for Marilyn Monroe. She was an alright actor, but very stupid like. great Film!!!!

Bicycle Thieves

This movie just dragged on forever. In the beggining it was interesting but the story was stretched and my interest was lost. The acting was completlely horrible. The father had almost fake expressions on his face and the kid is just a kid. There was only one good thing learnt about this movie, 2 wrongs dont make a right and something is always gonna come back and bite you in the ass.

East of Eden

James Dean. He made this movie interesting to watch. He had a myterious personality. He broke through in the end showing his inner self. This movie is very hard to analyze because i was caught up in the plot too much. Dean's acting gave the movie a somewhat feeling of suspense because you never knew he would kiss his brothers girlfriend. He was to himself the whole movie and then he justs breaks through like that. Wow.

The Penalty

Combining a great story with a great performance by Lon Chaney, The Penalty was an effective suspense classic. His determination to make his character flawless showed in the film. Lon Chaney used his skill in facial expressions and gestures to give the just right amount of emotion and intensity. He made this movie a good movie, especially with no words.
